- By connecting through the Orders Page
- By communicating with Buyer/Seller Messages
Are you still not sure how to contact seller on Amazon? Oh, that’s what we’re here for. Let’s make the easy methods even more accessible by breaking them down for you further on.
So let’s cut to the chase and have you claim what you want to make yours.
1. How to Contact Seller Using the Product Listing Page?
Here’s one of the ways you can contact the seller.
First, you go to the product page for one of the seller’s items. You can do that by searching for the desired product on Amazon.com and then go to the link of the seller’s product listings in the list of results.
Or if they have a seller’s storefront on Amazon, you can access the product listing from there.
Secondly, on the page’s right side, click the seller’s name besides “Sold by” and locate the box on the right of the page along with the “Add to Cart” and “Buy Now” icons once you’ve arrived at the product page. The words “Sold by” appear underneath those buttons and a link to the seller’s name. To access the seller’s details and contact page, click the link.
Else, if you’re on the Amazon app, you’ll find the link as you go down the listing.
Thirdly, as you open the seller’s page, click “Ask a Question” to send a direct text to the seller.
After you have clicked on the “Ask a Question” button, select the topic of your message in the dropdown menu. Be it a question about product details or customization, shipping, returns, and refunds policies, you can choose the closest option.
Then, write all the relevant information in the text box as the next page comes on. Do not forget to write the order number, product, and everything about your complaint, request, or question fewer than 4,000 characters.
Lastly, just as you feel you have delivered the right message, send your message by clicking below the text box on the “Send email” icon. Thereby, Amazon sends a copy of the email to you and the seller.
2. Connecting through the Orders Page
Here’s another way how to contact seller on Amazon. If you have a problem after placing an order with a third-party seller, here’s what you should do.
First, visit Amazon.com, and at the top of the page, you’ll see a link to the “Returns & Orders.” Click on it or from your account’s page, go to “Your Orders.” After that, search for the product you want.
Tap the dropdown menu button on the top left side to find your orders if you’re using the Amazon Prime app. “Your Orders” would be located right under “Home.”
Secondly, choose an option that either says “get help with order.” Or “problem with order.” Hence, report an issue as you click on the icon by following the prompts. However, if the seller does his or her own delivery rather than Amazon, only the yellow “get help with order” button will appear.
By following Amazon’s directions, you might be able to fix the problem without contacting the seller directly. If not, Amazon’s customer service system will assist you in getting to the seller on Amazon.
Click the “Return or Replace products” button if your order has already shipped and you’d like to request a refund, return, or exchange. If the seller handles these types of transactions, Amazon will place you in touch with them.
Also, if you only want to rate the seller on the whole auction, click “Leave seller feedback.” Therefore, leave comments and star ratings for them. You can do so until after 90 days of your order.
3. Communicating with Buyer/Seller Messages
This method is the third and final way to contact a seller on Amazon. If you’ve been in contact with the seller, you can continue to talk via Amazon’s buyer/seller messaging system.
You can navigate your messages as you do to the homepage of Amazon and to “Your Account.”
Through the browser, you can go to your account as you click on the homepage’s right side and the “Accounts & Lists” tab. Upon the opening of a dropdown menu, click “Your Account.”
However, if you’re on the app, the dropdown menu will be on the upper left of the screen. You’ll see the tab in the middle of “Your Lists” and “Shop by Department.” Then, go down to the “Communication and content” box, where you’ll find many related links.
But, if you’re using the app, follow the link to the “Message center” header instead. Henceforth, click “Messages from Amazon and sellers.” After that, past conversations with third-party sellers and Amazon will open up, and you can view everything you sent. If you’re on the app, select “Your Messages” below the “Message Center” tab.
Next, click the “Buyer/Seller Messages” tab on the top of your inbox in the message center. Subsequently, scroll to open the seller’s message you want to talk to and tap on the “Reply” icon on the top of the page to type a message.
This operation opens a text box for you. After your write-up satisfies you, hit the submit option to send the message. And here’s how to contact seller on Amazon.
